How do I join the club?As a member of Bluewater Freedivers of Western Australia you will also become a member of the Australian Underwater Federation, the governing body that oversees our past time and facilitates communication between clubs around Australia. Being a club member will mean you have access to over 60 other divers, most of whom own boats and are always keen to go diving. You'll also have access to our on-line club forum where you can find cheap gear, arrange dive trips, learn of new fishing rules, ask questions and generally waste time. The yearly fee structure for senior club members is $80 total. The break down is: $55 AUF ($20 insurance, $15 national AUF, $10 national spearfishing commission, $10 state spearfishing commission) and $25 club. Junior (under 18) fees are $40 total, with $35 going to the AUF and $5 for the club. AUF insurance policy details can be found at http://www.auf.com.au/HTML/Docs_Page.htm Also there also a "one off" club joining fee of $20 which provides a new member with a club T-shirt, club stickers, Fisheries measuring sticker and current pamphlets on rules and regulations. To join you pay AUF membership on line , make sure you select "AUF spearfishing" for the federal commission and "WA" as the state! You will then be emailed a receipt. Send the receipt and a completed Club Membership Application to our Treasurer Brian Loxton (email, post or in person). Club fees can now be paid directly into the club account but you MUST then email Brian (locko59@hotmail.com) and tell him that you have deposited money and why. BFWA Bank account details:
